Lanny Poffo was born December 28th, 1954. He is a Canadian born American citizen. His wrestling career in the WWF was highlighted by a victory over Hulk Hogan and the subsequent appearances on “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee” and “The Jonathan Ross Show”

He wrestled as “Leaping” Lanny Poffo and “The Genius” In both characters, he would write and recite an original poem before the match.

He now tours the world as an independent wrestler and motivational speaker. He's the author of two books: "Limericks From The Hearts (And Lungs!) & "Wrestling With Rhyme".
